Abstract
Twenty patients were operated on later than 72 hours after SAH. To eliminate angiography or surgery during severe spasm, we waited until the highest Doppler frequencies in a section of the circle of Willis were around 3 kHz. One patient was operated on with an initial frequency of 3.4 kHz.
