Zusammenfassung

Im Alter sind die Probleme einer bösartigen Krankheit weder größer noch kleiner, auch werden sie nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Es kommt allerdings unter dem Eindruck der oft nur mehr kurzen Lebenserwartung und der häufigen Multimorbidität des höheren Lebensahers zu einer Verschiebung in der Bedeutung der einzelnen Probleme (Hall 1984).
