Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein Verfahren zur Deckung frischer Mund-Antrum-Verbindungen nach Zahnextraktionen beim Hund beschrieben. Individuell dem Alveolarfortsatz angepaßte Schablonen aus vollständig absorbierbarem Kunststoff (Poly-l-Lactid/Polyglykolid) wurden bei 12 Hunden nach der Zahnextraktion und Eröffnung der Kieferhöhle über die Alveole fixiert. Der Heilverlauf wird bei jeweils 2 nach 4, 8 und 12 Wochen postoperativ gewonnenen Präparaten demonstriert. Die Gewebsverträglichkeit sowie Absorptionsfähigkeit des verwendeten Copolymers wurde vorausgehend in vivo (bei Ratten) untersucht.
Summary
A procedure for closing recent oroantral fistulas after tooth extractions in dogs is described. 12 dogs underwent extraction of a tooth with opening of the maxillary sinus.
Fully absorbable synthetic material (poly-l-lactide/polyglycolide) was molded to fit the alveolar process and placed across the empty socket. 2 specimens taken 4, 8 and 12 weeks postoperatively demonstrate the healing process. Tissue tolerance and absorption of the copolymer were established in prior in vivo experiments (in rats).
