Interaction and Structure of Nucleons in Deuterium

The following results are sketched in this contribution.
  1. 1.

    The high Q2 predictions for the elastic electromagnetic deuteron form factors based on the nucleon-nucleon interaction via exchange of mesons,πσ,ηρ,ω, δ compared with OCD predictions and improved by QCD constraints on the nucleon-meson vertices.

  2. 2.

    The unique nonstandard solution to the problems of the conventional approach to the deuteron smearing corrections in the deep inelastic electron-deuteron scattering, including consideration of dynamical off-shell corrections to the nucleon structure and indicating out that these dynamical corrections are much bigger than the properly calculated Fermi motion effects, for x < 0.6.
