Zusammenfassung
Durch eine Strukturierung einer Metalloberfläche kann das Reflexionsverhalten stark verändert werden. Ein periodisches sub-µm Gitter ermöglicht eine effektive Anregung von Oberflächen- plasmon-Polaritonen (kollektive Elektronenschwingungen). Durch die Herstellung von Tunnelstrukturen auf holographischen Gittern konnte ein Metall-Oxyd-Metall-Farbdetektor realisiert werden.
