  • Dragoslav Stula

Since the beginning of the last Century neurosurgeons and traumatologists have been concerned with the question of how to close a primary or secondary skull gap in the most optimal way. The literature, which grew extensively since then, described a great variety of different operating techniques and of the materials used [36, 149]. The diversity of the procedures demonstrated that there was no general agreement about the method of choice.
