Abstract
It has been pointed out for years that wearing of contact lenses may change corneal sensitivity (Boberg-Ans, 1955; Hamano, 1960; Bryon and Weseley, 1961; Schirmer, 1963; Dixon, 1964; Kemmetmüller, 1969; Millodot, 1971, 1974, 1976, 1977; Larke and Hirji, 1979; Draeger, 1980).
