Within the last years, many computer assisted stereotactic procedures have been developed. The next step toward a completely automatized operation would be the introduction of a new stereotactic system mechanized by servomotors2. The authors have built a Computer driven stereotactic machine which allows the positionning of the probe carrier automatically according to the target coordinates1.
