Abstract
Of the 7,587 stereotactic Operations that we have carried out in our department as of May 19, 1983 using the stereotactic device developed by Riechert and Mundinger, the non-resectable deepseated tumours of the midline or hemispheres treated with Curietherapy and Brachy-Curietherapy (GammaMed) in 1,445 radiation Operations, make up the second most frequent indication after extrapyramidal-motor disturbances.
