Abstract

These lectures present various aspects of the theory of the time delay of scattering processes. Proofs are sketched in such a way that the reader may hopefully understand their basic mechanisms! Some points of rigor and additional mathematical developments have to be supplemented by the reader or can be found in the literature on the subject which is discussed at the end of these notes.
