Abstract
Our aim is to show that the exact relation between the bare charge e0 and the dressed e is (in a properly handled QED) of the same type as in the Lee model [1], i.e., together with the cutoff being removed, the bare charge approaches the value zero from the domain of imaginary values whereas the dressed charge remains finite, different from zero, and of course real.
