Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain precise data on muscular degeneration and regeneration after ischemia, with reference to reimplantation in human beings. Ischemia was induced in 386 rabbits in order to study the tolerance of muscle to various types of ischemic conditions and the capacity of muscle to regenerate in these conditions.
