Abstract
Stereotaxic surgery on the human being, is an important field of activity at the Institute of Neurology, and surgery for behaviour disorders includes making lesions in the amygdala and in the hypothalamus. During surgery, the concerned deep nuclei of the brain are stimulated to ascertain the situation of the electrodes. This opportunity has been utilized to note the effect of stimulation of the amygdala and the hypothalamus on the production of acid in the stomach.
