Treatment of Spasmodic Torticollis With Dorsal Column Stimulation

Abstract

Because of the consideration that spasmodic torticollis might be an aberration of tonic muscle reflexes, an attempt was made to alter the afferent input of the reflexes by high frequency stimulation of the dorsal part of the spinal cord at the C-2 level in patients with spasmodic torticollis.
