Zusammenfassung

Unter dem Einfluß der beiden primären lymphatischen Organe, Thymus und Bursaäquivalent, erlangen die im Knochenmark gebildeten Stammzellen die Fähigkeit, sich zu zwei immunkompetenten Zellreihen zu differenzieren: Unter dem Einfluß des Thymus differenziert sich die lymphatische Stammzelle innerhalb des Thymus zum Thymozyten und besiedelt als T-Lymphozyt die Thymus-abhängigen Regionen von Milz und Lymphknoten. T-Lymphozyten sind durch bestimmte morphologische und funktionelle Merkmale gekennzeichnet und gelten als Träger der zellulären Immunität.
