Zusammenfassung

Eine Zelle ist von einer semipermeablen Membran, der sogenannten Zelloder Plasmamembran oder dem Plasmalemma eingeschlossen. Im Inneren der Zelle findet sich eine Raumeinteilung in zahlreiche, von semipermeablen Membranen, den sogenannten Zytomembranen umgebene Kompartimente. Über ihre Struktur und Funktion bei Blutzellen wird in den folgenden Abschnitten ausführlicher referiert. Hier soll am Beispiel der Zellmembran das Prinzip der Biomembran oder Elementarmembran diskutiert werden.
