Stereotactic Amygdalotomy in the Light of Neuropsychological Investigations
The aim of this paper is to describe on the basis of comparative psychological studies the effect of partial amygdalectomy on the behaviour and cognitive processes of patients with acute forms of epilepsy whose long-term pharmacological treatment, and in some cases also conventional surgical treatment, had been unsuccessful.
