Abstract

The prospects of further development of stereotactic neurosurgery, as well as the increase of its efficiency are determined not only by the technical improvement of the method but, particularly, by the best possible use of the data presented by contemporaneous neurophysiology and by the continuous accumulation of new information on functional anatomy and physiology of human brain achieved for the purpose.
