Abstract

Several procedures for hypophysectomy have been reported during the last years1, 6, 4, 3. All of them have been conceived to simplify surgery as much as possible. This is understandable by the fact that they are performed upon patients with diseases which often involve their general condition and surgical stress must be reduced to a minimum.
