Abstract

All properties of a flowing effluent determined from measurements made on the plasma generator itself are average values. These measurements are limited in that they yield values of the parameters which exist as the gas passes the exit plane of the generator. To determine gas properties as they exist at the test site or at specific locations in the cross section of the flow field requires measurement of parameters within the stream itself.
