Zusammenfassung
Der Globus pallidus besitzt die gleiche rostrocaudale Ausdehnung wie das Putamen. Der vom Putamen und Nucl. caudatus lateralis umgebene, ventral vom Nucl. amygdalae und medial von der Capsula interna begrenzte Kern ist vom Putamen cytologisch deutlich zu unterscheiden.
