Zusammenfassung
Unter dem Begriff Radioaktivität werden alle Erscheinungen und Vorgänge zusammengefaßt, welche mit einer „von selbst“ vor sich gehenden Umwandlung bestimmter Grundstoffe, mit dem „spontanen Zerfall“ instabiler Atomkerne in Zusammenhang stehen. Phänomenologie und Deutung der Radioaktivität sind im einzelnen mannigfaltig, ihre sinnfälligste Manifestierung ist die Emission von Strahlungen verschiedener Natur, Energie und Genese.
