Zusammenfassung

Psychopharmaka sind heute die in der Welt am häufigsten verschriebenen Medikamente. Überblicke zeigen, daß über 50% von Krankenhauspatienten mit Hypnotika oder Tranquilizern behandelt werden [50]. Die Mehrzahl der verschriebenen Psychopharmaka verordnen Nicht-Psychiater; Internisten, Chirurgen und Allgemeinmediziner beteiligen sich mit mehr als 70% an allen Verschreibungen [9]. Besonders Patienten mit chronischen Erkrankungen, wie Hypertonie, Coronare Herzkrankheit, funktionelle Unterbauchbeschwerden etc., erhalten langjährige Verordnungen [33].
