Photoabsorption Mechanisms Studied with the Detector DAPHNE at the New Mainz Facility MAMI-B

Abstract

Different steps in the study of photoabsoption mechanisms in 3He in the Δ-resonance region have been realised at the Saclay Linac and can now be further investigated at the new Mainz facility using the large-acceptance tracking detector DAPHNE.
