Abstract
Low temperature Raman spectra of LiGaO2 are reported between 6 K and 300 K. Below 80 K additional lines have been observed indicating a phase transition at approximately 85 K. However, the new lines could also be explained by the freezing of some degrees of freedom of local modes.
