Separating the emotion from the fact — The effects of new intermediaries on electronic travel distribution
We examine the true effect that new intermediaries and emerging electronic media is having on traditional channels of travel distribution. Current examples from the travel industry are used to illustrate how the travel distribution channel is changing, and how new players within the channel are disrupting the balance of power, and influencing the economics of the channel.
