Zusammenfassung
Von den pflanzlichen. Stilbenen sind drei Vertreter schon sehr lange bekannt. Das Rhaponticin (XIb), ein Glucosid des Rhapontigenins (XIa), wurde 1822 von HORNEMANN (58) aus der “Rhabarberwurzel” isoliert und war dann im vorigen Jahrhundert Gegenstand zahlreicher Arbeiten, die bereits 1905 in einem ausführlichen Referat (122) zusammengefaßt wurden. Die Strukturaufklärung gelang aber erst im Jahr 1938 (67).
