Zusammenfassung

Die Sonographie zur Abbildung von Veränderungen der Haut wird in der Dermatologie erst seit kurzem verwendet. Seit der Entwicklung hochfrequenter Ultraschallköpfe (ab 10 MHz) ist es möglich, Cutis und Subcutis darzustellen (Mivauchi 1983). Es ist daher naheliegend, mit hochauflösenden Ultraschallgeräten Hautveränderungen zu untersuchen und die Ausdehnung von Hauttumoren auf nichtinvasiveWeise zu bestimmen (Breitbart 1983).Vor allem bei malignen Tumoren (malignen Melanomen) läßt sich dadurch das chirurgische Vorgehen exakter planen.
