Implementation of Accurate Matrix Multiplication on the CM-2

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Computing Supplementum ((COMPUTING,volume 9))

Abstract

Implementation of Accurate Matrix Multiplication on the CM-2 In this paper we report about a parallel implementation of matrix multiplication in the sense of Kulisch’s arithmetic definition. Using the architectural support of the CM-2 the prize for accuracy compared to rounded Software arithmetic is not too high.
