Abstract
Demands on electronic components in the near of sensors grow by distributed automation processes. Bus node or bus participant is the name of such components. The components are working in field busses or sensor actuator busses. It’s besides necessary to execute an open communication (ISO Layer 7) with the increasing implementation to signal conditioning functions in to the bus nodes. Such electronic parts must have an effective hardware and a high software performance. The demand of the bus node electronic are small hardware expense and very low power supply because of the distribution in the industrial process field. Electronic components with such demands and performances are called “Smart Bus Node” (SBN). Concepts and solution ways will be shown based on general principles and real applications.
