Part of the book series: Few-Body Systems ((FEWBODY,volume 11))

Abstract

We have formulated a constituent quark model based on a hypercentral approach, taking into account three-body force effects and standard two-body potential contributions. We report our results on the baryon spectrum, the helicity amplitudes and the transition form factors, comparing them with experimental data. The effect of introducing relativistic corrections at a kinematical level is also briefly discussed.
