Abstract
The conclusion, that the traditional Hartree-Fock approach is not adequate for light atoms, is made from the studies of triple differential cross sections (TDCS) for the single ionization of atomic helium by electron impact at high incident energy, coplanar asymmetric geometry and small momentum transfers.
