The Muonic Helium Atom in CFHHM

Abstract

The properties of the ground states of the muonic Helium atoms eµ 4He2+ and eµ3He2+ have been calculated nonvariationally. In particular, the hyperfine splitting has been evaluated, including all relativistic and other corrections. The obtained theoretical precision is much larger than the discrepancies resulting from different versions of expressions for corrections, implying that the latter have to be reexamined before further comparison is possible.
