Baryon Elastic and Transition Form Factors with a Poincaré Covariant Current Operator
A Poincaré covariant electromagnetic current operator for systems of interacting particles has been proposed within the front-form Hamiltonian dynamics, to evaluate elastic and transition hadron form factors without ambiguities. Preliminary results for the nucleon elastic form factors in a constituent quark model are presented. The same current operator can be used to investigate the transition form factors from the nucleon to baryon resonances.
