Deuteron Two-Body Photodisintegration in the Quark-Hadron Picture

Preliminary results of the new data taken with the CLAS large angle spectrometer of Hall B at TJNAF are shown. They determine a nearly complete angular distribution for photon energy between 0.5 and 3 GeV and show a persistent forward-backward asymmetry. They are well described by the recent calculations derived in the framework of the Quark Gluon String Model.
