Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb der Schizophrenieforschung hat sich in den letzten Jahren eine bemerkenswerte Wandlung vollzogen. Nachdem man sich früher schwerpunktmäßig mit Symptomen beschäftigt hat, die eindrucksvoll und relativ spezifisch aus dem klinischen Gesamtbild hervorragen wie Halluzinationen, Ich-Störungen und bestimmte Wahnphänome (Erstrangsymptome i.S. Kurt Schneiders), so wandte man sich nun wieder im Sinne eines Neo-Kraepelinianismus bzw. Neo-Bleulerianismus den „Grundstörungen“ im Bereich des Affektes, des Antriebes und der kognitiven Funktionen zu (Andreasen, 1982).
