Zusammenfassung

Ähnlich wie in anderen Organen finden auch im Gastrointestinal-Trakt mit zunehmendem Lebensalter sowohl morphologische wie auch funktionelle Veränderungen statt, auch wenn diese deutlich geringer ausgeprägt sind als z.B. jene des Herz-Kreislauf-Systems (Shamburek 1990).
