Zusammenfassung
Untersuchungen von Bonica (1) zufolge werden Geburtsschmerzen in der Eröffnungsperiode durch die Zervixdilatation ausgelöst. Der Wehenschmerz verläuft hauptsächlich über die Nervenbahnen des Nervus hypogastricus inferior (Frankenhäuser Plexus), den Nervus praesacralis (Nervus hypogastricus superior) und den sympathischen Grenzstrang zu den dorsalen Wurzeln des Rückenmarks von Th 11 bis Th 12. Der Schmerz kann allerdings auf die Headschen Zonen Th 10 bis L 1 projiziert werden.
