Zusammenfassung
Elektive chirurgische Eingriffe werden am besten nach der Schwangerschaft durchgeführt. Nicht selten wird jedoch ein chirurgischer Eingriff auch während der Schwangerschaft notwendig. Die präoperative Abstimmung der perioperativen Maßnahmen ist von maßgeblicher Bedeutung. Direkte teratogenetische Effekte durch Anästhetika scheinen beim Menschen von untergeordneter Bedeutung zu sein. Zu bedenken sind allerdings die indirekten zirkulatorischen Effekte der Anästhetika und die Möglichkeit der Auslösung vorzeitiger Wehen.
