Phase-Shift Analysis of Elastic pp Scattering at High Energies and Catastrophic Energy-Dependence of Spin-Orbit Interaction

Abstract

A possible weak first-order phase transition of sub-nuclear medeium at T c =100~150 MeV is indicated by means of the phase-shift analyses of pp scattering at P L =1~12 GeV/c. A phenomenological model on the analogy of BCS-theory is proposed for a scenario of the phase transition.
