Abstract

In vitro and in vivo experiments paved the way for cryosurgical clinical investigations and for the development of different cryosurgical methods of treating primary liver tumors and liver metastases. The advances in cryosurgical technology have also aroused interest in the use of cryosurgery to treat hepatic malignancies.
