Zusammenfassung

Störungen der Monoamin-Neurotransmitter Dopamin, Noradrenalin, Serotonin und Acetylcholin werden mit einer Vielzahl von psychiatrischen Krankheitsbildern in Verbindung gebracht. IJnter Aminpräkursoren versteht man die Vorläufer dieser Amine: L-Tryptophan, 5-Hydroxytryptophan, Phenylalanin, L-Tyrosin und Cholin (siehe Tabelle 10.1.1).
