Abstract
The phenomenon of the rosette, turned outward or inward, is also part of this complex (Questionnaire III)23. If we assemble a complete circle absolutely symmetrically from little segments of circles, we get a dynamic form which is clearly different from the simple circle. Unlike the circle, the rosette seems to want to expand from its centre outwards to the little segments of circles. It appears as a dynamic figure in front of a background.
