Landmarks are points for orientation or shapes for orientation.
  • Points for orientation: Commissura ant. and post., foramen of Monroi, and other inconstant landmarks. Bony foramina of the skull base (e.g. Meatus, For.ovale) and other constant landmarks

  • Shapes for orientation: Sulcus centralis, Cuneus, ventricles, and other inconstant, but typical configurated structures. Constant bony structures: For. occipitale, Clivus, Sella and other constant areas.
