Abstract
Due to the fact that the posterior ethmoid has different drainage sites and it does not depend on the ostium-meatal complex for drainage, the intention in posterior ethmoid surgery is to find, explore and decompress all possible drainage sites. Among the places to explore are the superior meatus, the sphenoethmoidal recess, and as we have mentioned in previous chapters, outflow sites that are associated to the bulla and to the superior and posterior ethmoid (Fig. 1).
