Abstract
Our contribution today on “Tissue Culture and the Classification of Brain Tumours ” covers only a few general aspects of a very complicated problem. All technical details are omitted and questions of specific interest will be discussed later in relation to the subjects of the later sessions. All the statements that follow are based exclusively on our own experimental investigations including tissue cultures of about 500 cerebral neoplasms which seems to be the largest series so far.
