Abstract

My contribution on the theme of oligodendrogliomas is based on 35 tumours spontaneously occuring in animals. The bovine species and the mouse account for one case each, whereas 33 were observed in dogs. The following demonstrations are based on these 33 cases.

This study was supported by Grant B 1916 of the National Institute for Nervous Diseases and Blindness, Bethesda 14, Maryland, USA. and Swiss Nat. Foundation for Scientific Research.

This paper is dedicated to Prof. Dr. K. J. Zülch, Director of the Max-Planck -Institute for Brain Research, Cologne-Merheim. for his continuous help and encouragement.
