On Thermodynamics of the Differential Type Material

Abstract

The basic object of the present paper is the analysis of the thermodynamic restrictions for the constitutive equations describing simple materials of the differential type. Our approach is based on principles of determinism, local action, material objectivity, equipresence and the second law of thermodynamics.
