Exchange of Macromolecules between Nucleus and Cytoplasm

Abstract

The evidence showing that the pores of the nuclear membrane have a high degree of organization has already been presented and discussed in this Symposium by Prof. A. Claude. In the present paper, only the work done on whole, living cells (and not on isolated nuclei) will be examined.
