Zusammenfassung

Bei der Zählung von Detektorimpulsen ist zunächst eine „JA“ -„NEIN“- Entscheidung erforderlich, auf Grund welcher festgelegt wird, ob ein eingetroffenes Signal (z. B. unter Berücksichtigung seiner Größe) als Impuls zu zählen ist oder nicht. Diese geschieht durch Auslösekreise, die bei einer „JA“ -Entscheidung einen standardisierten Ausgangsimpuls liefern. Die Weiterverarbeitung (Zählung, Speicherung usw.) erfolgt dann nur noch ziffernmäßig (digital).
